Bismillah, walhamdulillah. Wasalatu wasalaam ‘ala Rasulillah (SAW).

Welcome to my online residence!

Keidi is my nickname but…

Why ‘Anchor’?

The world is like a sea, with the winds blowing us in every direction, trying to disrupt our navigation. At some points, we sail easily. At other points, we have to stop and anchor to our beliefs while we wait for the storm to blow over.

If we navigate the waters devoid of values, and beliefs, we will drift away and end at a location other than where we intended, lost. We should never leave the shore without ensuring we have our anchors with us. What are the anchors? The Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Rasul (SAW).

Sometimes, we are occupied with life and neglect to recharge with these two, so the aim of this blog is to help us anchor (daily, in sha Allah) with these reminders. (Q51.55)

I will appreciate if you can read, comment and share the message with others.

P.S: The blog should be read with our very own personal copy of the Qur’an (Arabic, translated or both). The verses profiled should be read and reflected upon and recited in Arabic, if possible. THIS is the essence of AnchorwithKeidi. To help us bond better with the Words of Allah and His Messenger.

Assalaam alaykum wa rahmatullah wabarakatuh.
