NOiR: Timely Tuesday

[Qur’an in Ramadan 11:Q10.53-Q11.123]

If you consider that the 5 daily salawat are not only to be prayed but prayed at the right time and preferably immediately the time sets in, you would realise Islam values punctuality.
Now, I know that some of our cultures call for being fashionably to unreasonably late but let’s set ourselves apart from the pack today.

First, let’s task ourselves to pray all the 5 daily prayers within the first 15 minutes of the adhaan, or to meet the Takbiratul ihram (first takbir of the prayer) if joining congregational prayer. If you do not hear the adhaan where you are, set reminders on your phone for the 5 compulsory salawat and observe your prayer within the first 15 minutes of the alarm.

Let’s take it a step further by also reaching everywhere we are going today on time. If you are not going out, do everything else on time today too. Being punctual and time-conscious shows good time management so we should manage our time effectively today.

And at the end of the day, share your success with us.
